A stout leafed species, also known as Aerides multiflorum var godfroyeae or Aerides affine, the latter being the Indian form of Aerides multiflorum. Best grown in a smal basket, this species prefers a media that will stay damp but not wet. A sunny spot with good air movement is required, the plants are slow growing and will take extra water and fertiliser while in growth. Slightly drier conditions in the cooler months, a warm to intermediate climate, and the heavy spikes of richly coloured fragrant flowers will result.
