Bulbophyllum fenestratum is a robust creeping species that needs either a large basket or a long piece of treefern. A warm grower, it can be trained around a large shallow container. Maximum sunlight will promote flowering. The leaves are quite attractive, purplish and spotted when new. When in active growth, it will take a lot of water and fertiliser. A rest and slightly drier conditions during the cooler months is recommended. A species from Thailand.
