Bulbophyllum macranthum is a robust creeping species that needs either a large basket of a long piece of treefern. A warm grower, it can be trained around a large shallow container. Maximum sunlight, leaves somewhat yellowish, will promote flowering. When in active growth, it will take a lot of water and fertiliser. A rest and slightly drier conditions during the cooler months is recommended.
