Exquisite Jewel orchid. Vivid green , veined silver, leaf tips flushed pink. A plant with several leaves each to 7cm x 3 cm. A semiterrestrial or lithophytic grower in heavy shade, the plants should be grown in a media that will stay damp but not wet. A dried winter, after flowering, is required, and the leaves may be deciduous. On the appearance of new growth, a repot of the rhizome will allow the new growth to root into the fresh media. Goodyera hispida is best grown as a clump, where it makes a very showy foliage plant.
