A robust, fast grower species with tall spikes of 2 to 3cm pure white fls, lip dentate. A deciduous species, best treated as a terrestrial and rested dry during winter. In spring, repot into fresh media. Maximum sunlight as the new growths appear will help initiate flowering. As for all habenarias, a rich media of leafmould, old bark, coarse sand and some fertiliser will produce large robust growths. Spikes should be staked as the head of flowers can be relatively heavy.
