An almost minature growing species from China. The distinctively mottled leaves indicate a shade grower. The plants grow in humus rich soil and leafmould in rock crevices, so a well drained media and a shallow container is recommended. A definite dry rest in winter is needed, and cool to intermediate conditions. In the growing season, extra light as well as some fertiliser may promote flowering.
