A terete leafed species, like all Paraphalaenopsis, requires a warm climate and excellent drainage. Best grown in a small slotted pot or basket in an open media, plants will also do well on a mount, treefern is ideal if available.
Plants do not like to be wet, and must be protected if winters are cold. Plants will grow on natural cork if a little extra water is supplied.
Native to Borneo, best grown on the shady side until plants are well established, at which time extra light can be provided to promote flowering of larger plants. Serpents tongue, due to the forked midlobe of the labellum, hence Paraphalaenopsis serpentilingua.
