Trichoglottis luzonense

This species does not climb, so a basket with a coarse open media is fine. The robust plant has much wider leaves than the other species, and may perhaps require a more shady position. A heavy feeder when in active growth, lots of fertiliser and water will produce a large robust plant with panicles of yellow and redbrown spotted, fragrant flowers. Trichoglottis luzonense flowers resemble those of the genus Arachnis. A Philippine species.
