An Indian and Ceylon species, perhaps a little more cool tolerant than the larger strap leafed Vandas. Best culture is a basket with coarse open media, lots of water and fertiliser when growing, and somewhat drier at flowering and for a short time after. Vanda Roxburghii needs plenty of sunlight, short of leaf burn, to keep the plant stocky and flowering. Intermediate grower.
