The Butterfly Orchid. A species that does well in a small pot/basket or on a piece of treefern and likes the shade. It is intolerant of wet stale conditions and should be kept on the dry side in the cooler non growing months. The spikes produce flowers in sequence and will produce side branchs if left. A well drained media is essential, although when growing, it should be kept just damp at all times.
