A Mexican species that is very amenable to orchid house culture. Does well in a small pot or basket and with extra water, will grow happily on treefern or cork. Sunlight much the same as that required for Dendrobiums, a somewhat drier rest in winter, and water and fertiliser when in active growth will promote and abundance of very attractive flowers. It seems to grow happily under any temperature range, with perhaps drier conditons if the winter is very cold. A well drained media is essential.
